General Terms and Conditions for Online Bookings

1.         MAKING A BOOKING / PAYMENT OPTIONS

 
(a) Online bookings can be made at Bridgewater Residences' website:

(d) Any fees relating to payment by credit card will be charged to the client.

 

(e) Once booking payment has been received, an electronic confirmation of your reservation will be mailed to the email address supplied.

 

(f) Payment of any open balance must be settled at Bridgewater Residences’ office prior to check-in and may be paid in cash or by MasterCard or Visa.

 

(g) The check-in process commences at the Bridgewater Residences head office in Amsterdam. In addition to verification that the financial administration is complete, you will be required to supply standard registration paperwork that includes a copy of your passport and/or other valid identity card and valid credit card details.

 
(h) No exceptions can be made in any circumstances.
 
(i) Perfect Visit BV reserves the right to refuse any bookings that were made as a consequence of technical failure of our bookings engine.
 

2.         TARIFFS

 

(a) The tariffs that apply to your accommodation are those provided when your reservation is confirmed by Bridgewater Residences.

 
(b) A minimum stay applies to all bookings. This minimum stay varies by apartment.
 

(c) Discounts may be arranged for large groups and long stays.

 

(d) Government tax (VAT), tourist taxes and other taxes are included in all tariffs.

 

3.         SECURITY DEPOSIT

 

(a) A security deposit must be made prior to check-in via a credit card authorization to be completed by the client. If needed, your security deposit can be used for:

  • Compensation in relation to cancellations.
  • Payment of repairs if damage was caused to the accommodation.
  • Cleaning.

(b) In the case that there are no charges against the security deposit

the credit card authorization will be destroyed.

 

(c) In case that charges are made against the security deposit, the credit card authorized will be charged for the costs incurred and a copy of receipts for the costs incurred provided to card holder.

 

4.         CANCELLATION POLICY

 

Bridgewater Residences adheres to the following cancellation policy:

 

(a) If the booking is cancelled more than 28 days in advance of the check-in date, then the booking fee paid will be returned, less an administration charge of € 150.
 

(b) If the booking is cancelled more than 21 days in advance of the check-in date, then the booking fee paid will be returned, less 25% of the total amount, with a minimum of € 150.
 

(c) If the booking is cancelled less than 21 days in advance of the check-in date, then the booking fee paid will be returned, less 50% of the total amount, with a minimum of € 150.
 

(d) If the booking is cancelled less than 14 days in advance of the check-in date or the tenant does not show up for check-in, the full amount will be charged for the entire period as originally booked. A partial refund may be made, in the event that the apartment is re-let for a period overlapping with the original reservation.
 

(e) Refunds will not be made for cancellations after the check-in date in any circumstances.

  

5.         CHECK-IN AND CHECK-OUT TIMES

 

(a) The check-in time is 3:00 PM (15:00). Earlier check-in may be possible but not guaranteed. Early check-in can only be guaranteed if the day previous to arrival is also booked by the same client, as there will be no check-out that day.

 

(b) The check-out time is 11:00 AM (11:00) on the day of departure. Late check-outs may be requested but cannot be guaranteed. Late check-outs can only be guaranteed if the day after departure is also booked by the same client, as there will be no check-in that day.

 

(c) An additional fee of €25 will be charged for check-ins and check-outs after 21:00 and before 09:00.

 

(d) Bridgewater Residences reserves the right to relocate any guest to any one of their apartments should the need arise (e.g. power failure, fire, burglary, flooding, acts of god).

 

6.         GENERAL POLICY

 

(a) A "No Party Policy" is strictly enforced and Bridgewater Residences management reserves the right to evict at any time, any guest who disturbs the quiet enjoyment of others.

 
(b) Pets are not allowed.
 

(c) All keys must be returned upon departure. Failure to do so will incur a replacement fee of €200 per set of keys.

 

(d) Guests must immediately inform Bridgewater Residences of all defects in the apartment and damages that occur in the apartment.

8.         EMERGENCIES

 

(a) In case of emergencies during office hours you can always contact Bridgewater Residences via the office details above.

 

(b) Outside office hours you can contact: Wytse Bonnema, his cell phone number will be supplied upon booking confirmation.

 
Perfect Visit BV adheres to the following cancellation policy:
(a) If the booking is cancelled more than 28 days in advance of the check-in date, then the booking fee paid will be returned, less an administration charge of € 150.
